Council praise for HIV charity
THE work of a leading Scottish HIV charity is set to be celebrated by councillors in the Capital.
Conservative councillor Jason Rust is to present a motion congratulating Waverley Care on its recent 21st birthday and calling for it to be marked appropriately.
The charity has offices at Mansfield Place and Oxgangs Road North.
Councillor Rust said: "Waverley Care has undertaken invaluable work over the past 21 years and it is important that this is properly recognised."
