Council revamp to save ferry slipway at North Kessock
THE future of a historic ferry slipway, which has been used by travellers crossing the firth between Inverness and the Black Isle since the 15th century, has been secured.
Highland Council is to spend £15,000 on remedial works before the pier at North Kessock is transferred into community ownership.
