Constance checks out highly-rated cafe

A CAFE branded better than Michelin-starred restaurants was today being visited by Youth Employment Minister Angela Constance as the
latest employment statistics were released.

Natalie Kwek, 26, set up the Haven Cafe in Newhaven in November 2011, helped by funding provided by The Prince’s Trust. Ms Constance was due to meet Ms Kwek and her staff at the cafe this
morning.

In October last year, the Evening News told how Edinburgh University graduate Ms Kwek was left stunned after the cafe was highly recommended by every customer who reviewed it on travel
website TripAdvisor.

The endorsement allowed the cafe to shoot past Michelin-starred restaurants Castle Terrace, Number One, Martin Wishart, Kitchin and 21212 in the site’s rankings – even in the food category.
