City attraction builds success

THE National Trust for Scotland's Georgian House in Charlotte Square has enjoyed its most successful year ever, with more than 40,000 visitors stepping through its doors since March.

The Georgian House provides insight into New Town life during the Georgian era.

The house has been cared for by the National Trust for Scotland since 1966, and opened to the public in 1975.

Property Manager Sheonagh Martin said:

"We look forward to welcoming more visitors."
