City 'can learn from London'
A CITY councillor is campaigning for support for small business, after getting advice from high-profile Tory candidate Zac Goldsmith.
Councillor Jason Rust, the economic development spokesman for the Conservatives on the city council, met with the environment campaigner in Barnes, London, to discuss ways the two capital cities can help firms escape the recession.
Mr Goldsmith was launching a Support Our Small Shops Campaign in Barnes. Cllr Rust said: "Our city villages like Balerno and Colinton can learn lessons from London suburbs and vice versa."
