Church centre among winners in £170,000 Lothian funds boost
FOUR projects in Edinburgh and Midlothian have been awarded more than £170,000 from the Landfill Communities Fund.
In Edinburgh 50,000 will fund a biodiversity enhancement project at Figgate Park. Leith Junction Road Church Centre gets 43,455 towards church roof and stonework repairs.
Merchiston Tennis & Bowling Club gets 35,000 to help refurbish its clubhouse.
And in Midlothian, 43,200 will go towards the Roslin Old Brickworks pathway upgrade.
The cash is distributed by Environmental Body WREN.
