Charity shave proves Dave is real hair-o
A LEITH man has volunteered to have his hair and beard shaved off to raise money for charity.
Dave Woods has agreed to undergo the haircut in order to raise money for the Citadel Youth Centre in Leith, which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary.
He is hoping to raise up to 500, which will be used to help children enjoy day trips, activities and barbecues in the summer.
Mr Woods said: "It's a fantastic place that does incredible work with young people in Leith."
Organisers are also asking for the services of a skilled barber to help with the event, which will be held at the Citadel on Friday, 19 March.
