Charis moves up in degrees
A WEST Lothian girl whose higher education hopes were shattered by poor exam results is preparing to start second year at Edinburgh University.
Former West Calder High pupil Charis Auldjo decided to change direction after finishing sixth year two years ago and studied countryside management at Oatridge College.
Now, with a Higher National Certificate and Diploma, Charis will go straight into second year to study Ecology, Environmental Science and Management.
