Chance to see Big Country

A FUNDRAISING concert at the city’s Hard Rock Cafe will feature rock band Big Country, organisers have announced.

Held in aid of Pinktober Cancer Initiative, the accoustic gig will also feature former Simple Minds bass player Derek Forbes, who will be making his first official appearance with the band since the recent retirement of Tony Butler.

Originally a sell-out, an extra 40 tickets have been released for the October 25 concert and are being distributed on a first come, first served basis. The concert at the George Street venue will kick off at 7.30pm.
