Championing the Capital
olympic hero Katherine Grainger has visited Scotland House – which is showcasing the nation at the Games – to take part in an event highlighting the Capital.
The gold medal-winning former Edinburgh University rower joined rugby legend Gavin Hastings to promote the city’s festivals and the Year of Creative Scotland.
Hosted by VisitScotland in London, the country was also showcased as the home of golf – with major winner Catriona Matthew also involved – and a major tourist destination.
