Capital schoolkids set for building test

CHILDREN across the Capital are being put to the test in the Construction and Built Environment Challenge heats.

The annual event will give almost 250 S2 pupils the chance to demonstrate their knowledge in construction and engineering by tackling a series of challenges.

Now in its 13th year, the contest features eight categories including roof tiling. The event will take place at Oatridge College today, Edinburgh Napier University tomorrow and West Lothian College on Thursday.
