Canopy work shuts bridge

THE Forth Road Bridge will be closed to all traffic for three hours in the middle of the night on two dates next week.

Work to dismantle the “dropped object canopy” at the north main tower of the bridge will mean closures on Thursday and Friday from 12.30 to 3.30am.

The closures are weather dependent and bridge users are advised to check the bridge website before travel. For up-to-date information, visit www.forthroadbridge.org/weather.
