Bursary in tune with poor

A BURSARY being launched in the Capital tomorrow will help subsidise the purchase of musical instruments for underprivileged students.

The initiative is the brainchild of Edinburgh music tuition group Most Entertaining.

Spokesman Jonathan Hartley said the grant programme would be open to people who could not afford the total cost of an instrument, with certain criteria to apply.

All proceeds from a raffle being run as part of tomorrow’s Stockbridge Carol Parade will go directly towards bursary funds.

The parade will start from 3pm at Stockbridge Market. A brass band will march to St Stephen’s Hall where the Edinburgh Military Wives Choir will perform from 4pm.

More information on the bursary is available by emailing info@mostentertaining.com.
