Bundles of joy at Christmas
PARENTS celebrated the perfect present with the arrival of Lothian’s first Christmas Day babies.
Julie Knight, 22, and William Reid, of Prestonpans in East Lothian, welcomed their son Luke (main picture) at the ERI at 1.14am. Luke weighed in at eight pounds.
Less than 20 minutes later, at St John’s, Antonia McLean gave birth to baby Cody (inset), who weighed eight pounds and nine ounces. Antonia, 26, and husband Colin, 32, of Livingston, welcomed Cody into the world at 1:32am.
