Boots campaigners to take 'mass overdose'

CAMPAIGNERS in Edinburgh are set to take part in a "mass overdose" as part of a national campaign against retailer Boots for selling homeopathy treatments.

The group, which calls itself Edinburgh Sceptics, said the products were nothing more than "sugar pills" which do not work.

Boots said its was committed to providing its customers with a wide range of healthcare products, adding that many people believed in complementary medicines.
