Boost to digital service delivery

FINANCE Secretary John Swinney has launched a plan to boost digital delivery of public services.

The strategy covers not only the Scottish Government, but also health, local government, further and higher education and police and fire services.

Launching the document, Scotland’s Digital Future, Mr Swinney said: “Digital technology has changed the way we view the world and there is no doubt that it can also change the way we deliver public services.”
