Body found on Cramond Beach

POLICE have launched an investigation after a man’s body was discovered at Cramond beach.

Officers were alerted early on Saturday morning. It is understood officers assisted the help of the Queensferry lifeboat, which was launched at around 10.30am.

As yet no information has been released about the identity of the man, and police said their inquiries were at an early stage.
