Blind biker in bid for record

A DAREDEVIL from the Capital is to attempt to become the world’s fastest blind biker.

Stuart Gunn, who lives in the Broughton area, lost his sight and was partially paralysed following a crash between his motorbike and a van in 2002.

But the 39-year-old refused to sell his three powerful bikes and is hoping to reach 190mph and set the new land speed record for a blind biker.

Mr Gunn hopes to raise money for several charities before making the attempt later this year.
