Bikers set £5k targets ahead of epic trek
A GROUP of West Lothian motorcyclists are to ride across ten countries in nine days to raise money for charity.
Jim Mitchell, from Torphichen, and brother Ian will make the mammoth trek with six friends to collect money for Cancer Research UK and the Children's Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS).
They also hope to auction off a top-of-the-range off-road motorbike to help reach their target of 5000 for each charity.
Tickets for the auction to win a brand new BMW F800 GS will be sold for 5 each at The Centre in Livingston this weekend, as well as at the Gyle shopping centre on February 14-15.
A dinner and auction will be held at the Beecraigs Restaurant in Linlithgow next month.
