Bikers salute war victims

A HUGE motorcycle convoy is to pass through the Capital to commemorate those who gave their lives in war.

Sunday’s War Torn Troops Remembered parade will see 120 bikes gather at Straiton park and ride before heading towards Princes Street Gardens and the American-Scottish war memorial.

Organiser CSgt James Thomson, of the Highland Fusiliers, said: “To take part in such an event and ride through the town is amazing, but to ride through the country’s capital in an endless sea of motorbikes will just be phenomenal.”
