Big Foot a step closer to move after campaign

MORE than 100 people have backed a new campaign to move an iconic Edinburgh sculpture.

Environmental organisation Greener Leith wants to relocate Eduardo Paolozzi's "Big Foot" from its current home in Picardy Place to the bottom of Leith Walk.

The campaigners hope the move will encourage more visitors into Leith and have so far received the backing of more than 100 people on Facebook.

The foot was funded by Sir Tom Farmer and is now owned by the city council. The sculpture was inaugurated in 1991.
