Big break for bingo winner

A CITY bingo player has scooped almost £40,000 in winnings from an online gaming site – on a 30p stake.

Nichola Brash hit the jackpot just weeks after signing up to the site, having been encouraged to join by friends.

The lucky winner won £37,989 on a slot game, by staking 30p and lining up five dog symbols.

Ms Brash said: “It hasn’t sunk in yet – I still can’t believe I won such a large amount of money.

“The first thing I plan to do is treat my family to a holiday as I have never taken my children abroad.”
