Banned driver in drugs find

Police officers who stopped a disqualified driver found he had drugs in his possession.

Livingston Sheriff Court was told Tomasz Arczewski had cannabis and speed in his car.

Arczewski, 22, of Fauldhouse, pleaded guilty to committing the motoring offences and having the drugs in July. He will be sentenced at a later date.

Catherine Knowles, prosecuting, said the cannabis was worth £40-£50 and three bags of white powder containing amphetamine were worth £70.
