Bands urged to enter city talent contest
BANDS from across the Lothians have been invited to sign up to a talent contest.
Organisers at the Edinburgh Untapped Talent Society are holding the Battle of the Bands event next month.
A spokesman for the competition said: “The first stage will be to audition your band to a selection of judges, from this the number of bands will be narrowed down to five, who will play on the night.
“The best bands, as determined by independent judges, will win prizes, which are yet to be confirmed.”
Interested acts must sign up by February 17 for the event to be held on March 15.
