Bail breach man jailed

A MAN has been jailed for ignoring a judge’s order to stay away from his ex-partner.

Steven Stanley was already serving a four-month prison sentence for breaching an
earlier bail order imposed by Sheriff Martin Edington.

At Livingston Sheriff Court yesterday, Stanley, 32, of East Calder, West Lothian, had a further 70 days added to his existing sentence.

He earlier pleaded guilty to failing to appear at court in January, breaching bail in May by contacting his ex at her home and behaving in a threatening and abusive manner.
