Athletes insured against attacks by Nessie
ATHLETES are being insured for up to £1 million against being bitten by Nessie when they take the plunge in Loch Ness. More than 100 competitors are taking part in a triathlon on 23 July.
Insurance company NIG is providing the cover for the athletes from the UK, France, South Africa, Italy and Germany, who will swim two laps of Urquhart Bay.
