SPACE legend Buzz Aldrin successfully piloted his way to the Moon on time – but reaching Edinburgh didn’t prove so easy.

One of the world’s greatest living astronauts had to resort to taking a train to Waverley after his flight from Heathrow was snowed off.

The 82-year-old, who became the second man to walk on the Moon on July 20, 1969, arrived eight hours late before being whisked off in a Rolls- Royce to speak at a private event.
