TAYSIDE Police are appealing for witnesses after vandals caused £5000 worth of damage to three windows at the Arbroath Abbey Visitor Centre in Angus.

A force spokesman said: “The windows were smashed sometime between 4.30pm on Thursday and 8.40am on Friday. Anyone who saw the windows in the centre being smashed or knows who is responsible should contact Tayside Police.”
