Appeal over dead man

Lothian and Borders Police are appealing for information to help trace next of kin for a man who died in Edinburgh.

James Tait was found at his home in Niddrie Mains Court on Sunday.

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the 68-year-old’s death and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.

It is believed that Mr Tait had previously lived in Bathgate and Livingston before moving to Edinburgh and has a daughter who was born in 1969.
