Antique set to urn £20k

A RARE set of gold mounted bagpipes, a colourful triptych and an urn valued at up to £20,000 are going under the hammer next month at a Capital auction house.

Bonhams’ annual Scottish sale will invite bids for a raft of antiques in a two-part sale.

Lots include a Phoebe Anna Traquair enamelled triptych estimated at between £15,000 and £20,000. A George II Scottish silver coffee urn, and unique bagpipes that should fetch between £5000 and £7000. The sale will take place on August 29 and 30 starting at 11am.
