Alex Arthur's title belt blunder

CHAMPION boxer Alex Arthur has told how he thought he had lost his world title belt after leaving it lying on a movie set.

The 31-year-old, who lives in the Southside, took the belt to Kelvin Amateur Boxing Club in Glasgow during rehearsals for gangster movie Revenge, in which he is to appear.

But at the end of the day he left without the belt and by the time he went back for it, the club doors had been locked.

He said: "Fortunately it was still there the next day – which is just as well as it would have cost more than 5,000 to replace."
