Airline boosts city service to Shetland
BUDGET airline Flybe is to boost the number of flights between Edinburgh and Shetland during the summer.
The route, operated by Glasgow-based Loganair on behalf of the low-cost carrier, will add a third daily service from Monday.
There will be three return flights between Edinburgh and Sumburgh until 25 September.
Loganair's Jonathan Hinkles said: "We're delighted to be able to launch a third service on one of our most important routes.
"The strong advance bookings on the new flights show that they are already proving popular with customers, particularly by offering additional flexibility and choice for those making onward connections at Edinburgh."
