Advice event for tenants

A SERIES of drop-in sessions to inform tenants of housing benefit reforms are being held across the Capital.

The events are designed to help tenants who may be facing cash shortfalls due to new “bedroom tax”. The first will be held on March 21 at Northfield Community Centre, between 1pm and 4pm.

Councillor Cammy Day, housing leader at the city council, said: “These are very dramatic changes. Tenants need to know just exactly what they will mean to them.”
