A dram big bottle of whisky

The Famous Grouse is to celebrate its 107th birthday by filling the world’s largest bottle of whisky.

The 200-litre bottle, which will hold the equivalent of 8000 drams, is expected to set a new Guinness World Record when it is filled over the 
weekend.

Created by Czech glass company BOMMA, the bottle arrived at The Famous Grouse Experience at Glenturret 
distillery, Perthshire, yesterday from Svetla, near Prague. 
The bottle will be filled on 
Sunday.

Gregor Edmunds, crowned Scotland’s Strongest Man in 2002, will help move the enormous bottle.

The Famous Grouse is aiming to take the current record from Bourbon producer Jack Daniel’s, which set a world record last year by producing a 184-litre bottle.
