£10k bill for stadium talks
THE city council spent nearly £10,000 on a conference about neighbourhood partnerships at Easter Road Stadium.
City leader Jenny Dawe said that the cross-party neighbourhood partnership conveners group was held at Hibs' stadium because the group felt "a non-council venue to be the most appropriate setting".
The cost of 9,579 emerged following a written question by Cllr Cameron Rose to Cllr Dawe ahead of today's full council meeting.
The conference was attended by 186 people.
