12-year-old airlifted to hospital
A 12-year-old girl was airlifted to Edinburgh's Sick Kids Hospital yesterday after falling off a horse near North Berwick.
The RAF, coastguard, ambulance and police were all involved in the rescue of the girl who suffered head and hand injuries on Seacliff Beach.
The girl was not expected to face any long-term health problems and she was conscious while being transferred.
