£10k boost for tapestry

The Scottish Diaspora Tapestry, the latest tapestry project from the Prestoungrange Arts Festival, has been awarded a grant of £10,000 for Gaelic translation.

The grant comes from Bòrd na Gàidhlig, which works to promote Gaelic and improve the status of the language.

Te festival is combining the announcement of the grant with an open forum event at the Gothenburg in Prestonpans on Monday.
