The pie's the limit for Paul
A NURSING home worker is looking to prove he can cut it in the world of competitive pie eating.
Activity co-ordinator Paul McNamara, 39, struck a bargain with residents of Edinburgh's Strachan House nursing home that he would devour a pie in world championship time or suffer being drenched with a bucket of cold water.
The World Pie Eating Championships were won last week by Barry Rigby, who devoured a regulation 12cm x 3.5cm meat pie in 46 seconds – seven seconds outside the world record.
