Reunited New York Dolls set to meet old fans in December
PUNK legends the New York Dolls are playing a gig in Edinburgh in December.
The band will play songs from their latest album Cause I Sez So, as well as the classics, at the HMV Picture House on 8 December.
The tickets are expected to be in high demand after a show at London's 100 Club sold out in just four minutes.
The New York Dolls were formed in the early 1970s, influencing a generation of punk bands with their two seminal albums, the eponymous debut New York Dolls and follow-up Too Much Too Soon.
The band split in 1977 but in 2004 three surviving members reformed the group, although they soon lost bassist Arthur Kane to leukaemia.
In 2006 remaining members David Johansen and Sylvain Sylvain reunited again and recorded the NY Dolls' third studio album, One Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This, which featured the single Dance Like A Monkey.
