Pre-orders soar for Susan Boyle album
THE debut album by Britain's Got Talent sensation Susan Boyle has become the most pre-ordered release in the history of the Amazon online retailer.
The company said it was "thrilled" by what it described as the "unprecedented" demand for the West Lothian singer's recording debut, which is not out for another month.
The album is expected to sell millions of copies within days of its release, and has been widely tipped to top the British charts over the Christmas period.
