Funny orchestral manoeuvres
COMEDIAN Bill Bailey will perform with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra in the Capital later this year.
Bill Bailey's Remarkable Guide to the Orchestra combines music with comedy.
The idea was born after Bailey was given control of the BBC Concert Orchestra for a Comic Relief special in 2007. Since then he has performed with them at The Royal Albert Hall in London and is now touring the UK.
The classically trained comedian has teamed up with conductor Anne Dudley to create a show with songs and sketches based on the various instruments of the orchestra.
The ten-date run starts in Cardiff on 6 November and takes in Birmingham, Manchester, Dublin, Belfast, Liverpool, Coventry and Gateshead. He will be performing with the BBC Scottish Symphony at the Usher Hall on Sunday 13 December.
