Scotsman group photographers snap up top awards
PHOTOGRAPHERS from The Scotsman and Scotland on Sunday were recognised for their work at the 2008 First ScotRail Press Photography Awards last night. Phil Wilkinson from Scotland on Sunday won both the News Picture of the Year category and Features Photographer of the Year title.
Scotsman photographer Ian Rutherford won the Picture Essay of the Year category, and his colleague Jane Barlow was highly commended in the Features Photographer of the Year section. Ian Georgeson of the Edinburgh Evening News was also among the photographers shortlisted.
