A TEACHER could be banned from class over allegations that she sent a pupil home with a powerful acid and another child suffered burns to his hands.

Anne Murawska is due to appear before the General Teaching Council for Scotland, facing 16 charges, including a claim that she allowed a pupil to go home with acetic acid.

Ms Murawksa taught at Parkhill Secondary School and Cardinal Winning Secondary School in Glasgow in 2012 and 2013.

The acid incident allegedly happened on 26 September, 2013, at Cardinal Winning Secondary.
