LANARKSHIRE food firm Tunnock’s has launched its own merchandise range in a bid to capitalise on its cult status around the world.
The teacake company’s clothing collection includes t-shirts, hooded sweaters and beanie hats.
Tunnock’s will receive royalty payments for allowing their logo to be used on the clothing, with some of the items already on sale in Scottish shops and on the firm’s website.
This year’s launch builds on November’s sale of cufflinks with caramel wafer logos and a Tunnock’s Rubik’s Cube.
The merchandise launched this month carries the iconic caramel log branding.
Tunnock’s have been producing biscuits for over 120 years, since Thomas Tunnock bought the first shop in Uddingston for the sum of £80, and are hoping to crack the north American and Australian markets.
