Still stylish
at the palace

visitors to Linlithgow Palace can view the remnants of this month’s Chanel fashion show before the remaining structures are pulled down.

A roofed verandah circling the main courtyard of the 12th century building in West
Lothian is yet to be removed.

Venue staff have confirmed the structure, designed to shelter the event’s high-profile guests from the Scottish elements, would remain standing until at least next week.

The lavish collection launch run by Chanel head designer Karl Lagerfeld on December 8 was a first for the West Lothian birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots, and it showcased
vintage furs and intricate
knitwear.
