TWO Spartak Moscow fans will be spending Christmas in Scotland after being remanded in custody for fighting with Celtic supporters.

Alexey Fedorov, 22, and Alexsey Filatov, 36, admitted breaching the peace on 5 December, by fighting at the Gallowgate at Fielden Street, Glasgow. It is not known if the trouble flared before or after the 2-1 defeat to Celtic at Parkhead.

Filatov also pled guilty to resisting arrest by struggling violently and lashing out with his arms and legs.

Fedorov, from Moscow, faces a charge of assaulting a police officer by kicking him on the head and body to his injury and pled not guilty.

The pair will be sentenced in January, at Glasgow Sheriff Court and Fedorov will go to trial on the other charge next month also. They were both remanded in custody until their next appearance.
