Knives (and forks) are out for Hardeep

TV personality Hardeep Singh Kohli was prepared for more than a mouthful as he tucked into an award-winning haggis, neeps and tatties pie.

He was launching this year’s Scottish Food & Drink Excellence Awards 2013, which he will host at the Assembly Rooms, in George Street, on May 30.

Hardeep, who enjoyed Acanthus Pies’ offering, said: “I’m so proud and humbled to represent my country in this area of excellence.”
