POLICE have returned to the scene where a woman was raped in an attempt to discover fresh information about the attack.

Uniformed officers have been speaking to people and handing out leaflets in the area where the 24-year old was assaulted.

Police believe more than one man was involved in the incident, which took place in the early hours of Monday May 19, and hope today’s appeal will uncover new witnesses.

Officers have been speaking to passers-by in Cathcart Road, Dixon Road, and Boyd Street in the Govanhill area of Glasgow.

Police Scotland has previously released images and CCTV footage of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the attack.
