AN elderly pedestrian who was seriously injured in a collision with a goods van has died.

The 88-year-old woman was injured in Bonnybridge, near Falkirk, on September 26.

She and a Mercedes-Benz box-type van collided as she crossed Wellpark Terrace, near its junction with High Street.

The woman, who has not been named, was taken to the Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert by road ambulance.

She died in hospital yesterday evening, police said.
