Salmond gives Holocaust talk
FIRST Minister Alex Salmond will be the guest speaker at an event to mark a project to encourage Scottish pupils to visit Auschwitz.
Staged by the Holocaust Educational Trust, tonight's dinner is aimed at acknowledging follow-up work by students.
The charity takes hundreds of youngsters every year to the site of the former concentration camp.
Organisers said it was important for every school pupil to be given the opportunity to see for themselves the scene of one of the world's worst atrocities.
